A total of 52 pieces from Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art will be on display. The modern style of Japanese painting was started by Okakura Tenshin and Ernest Francisco Fenollosa, who were related to Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Including great masters such as Yokoyama Taikan and Takeuchi Seihō, this exhibition brings you works from Kataoka Tamako, who was active in Nagoya and artists who so beautifully captured the breathtaking landscapes of Hokkaido.
